SeaWolf
One-Shot Buried Mine Relocation and Neutralisation
A further member of the UUV Family is the SeaWolf vehicle. It is a powerful one shot mine disposal weapon with a new heavy duty blast charge. This system was mainly developed for the disposal of naval mines which are completely buried, however it is also effective against semi buried proud bottom mines and other ordnance at sea.
The SeaWolf is capable of relocating buried or semi buried proud mines using an advanced sediment penetrating sonar and dispose of them by igniting the charge in close vicinity of the target.
