Survey and Inspection vehicle for deep waters

The AUV SeaOtter MkII D, a modification of the SeaOtter MkII, represents the forefront of today’s underwater vehicle technology and is designed for most types of inspection and measuring tasks. Its high operational capability is reflected not only in the exceptional mission parameters such as diving depth and mission duration, but also in the implementation of the vehicle modules from propulsion via energy generation through to intelligent behaviour when unplanned events occur (e. g. obstacles, system malfunctions). By virtue of its easily configurable Payload Section, the vehicle can be adapted for customized missions within a short time.

Mission execution is monitored and controlled by a variety of autonomous functions on board the SeaOtter MkII D, like fault diagnosis and obstacle avoidance.

The vehicles high degree of flexibility and manoeuvrability also permits missions in highly complicated terrain or structures.
