We are a technological leader in many sectors and have an excellent reputation, particularly as a supplier of Sonar Systems. In terms of sonar technology, mine-hunting, naval weapons or combat systems, we have what are in part unique capabilities.
ATLAS ELEKTRONIK UK is looking to employ apprentices in a number of areas who are keen to progress in their chosen careers and who have a real passion and desire to understand our business domain.

The scheme supports our apprentices by providing suitable learning opportunities, training and experience in the apprentice's chosen field. Internal and external training is provided, as well as the opportunity for further experience within all areas of the business via cross department team rotations. A full company induction programme will be given to the apprentices covering all of the usual topics with additional features such as a team building session and an Apprenticeship Scheme Induction session.
As well as their team leaders, the apprentices will be assigned a buddy who is suitably qualified and experienced who can provide advice and support on both professional and non-professional issues. AEUK’s Learning and Development Officer will provide additional support to the apprentices in a development capacity, but also as a HR contact for any issues or advice they may have during their apprenticeship.
The apprenticeship scheme lasts 2 years and is closely monitored via the use of log books, quarterly reviews, team leader reviews and apprentice reviews, where the apprentice can provide feedback and possible improvements on the scheme.
